孟mèng子zǐ曰yuē：「人rén有yǒu不bù為wéi也yě，而ér後hòu可kě以yǐ有yǒu為wéi。」

Mencius said, 'Men must be decided on what they will NOT do, and then they are able to act with vigour in what they ought to do.'
